Snow is forecast for the highest of the High Sierra early next week, giving me the perfect excuse to post this pic I took of my dog Teddy at Lake Tahoe a couple of years ago.
The photo works because I followed the old photographer's maxim: get close. Then get closer.
The image, by the way, was taken with a point-n-shoot camera, the Panasonic DMC-ZS3.
Yes, I know. DMC-ZS3 is a terrible name, further proof there's a lot of marketing people getting paid for doing absolutely nothing.
