Just screwing around at the beach in Santa Monica at sunset yesterday -- working on composition and exposure. With photography, it's always good to practice.
The quick critique on top photo: too dark at right, nice intersecting lines on left side with the wave meeting the reflection of the sun.
Quick critique on bottom photo: The beach part is too dark; I probably did blow that part of the exposure. On the other hand, no one has ever taken a picture of the Santa Monica Pier at sunset before, eh? :)
Still, fun snapshots that are FB or Twitterworthy. Both were taken with my Nikon D5100 and VSCO slide film presets were used to process both images.
