Took this one for work -- it's a new onramp to the notorious 405 freeway in Los Angeles. I had access to the ramp a couple of days before it opened to traffic.
There's a rich history of great photography of freeway structures in Southern California. Most photos, however, aren't taken actually on the freeway. So I was lucky in that sense.
I took the photo with my Nikon D5100 and the Nikon 10-24mm DX wide angle lens. I gave the photo a slight crop so there wasn't quite so much pavement in the foreground.
