Sand dunes on the sand spit

I'm still processing photos from my Central Coast sojourn a couple weeks back. This one is the result of shooting the sand spit that divides Morro Bay and the Pacific Ocean at ground level.

Sort of makes for an interesting pic and follows my general rule of thumb for dunes photos: lower is usually better to capture and emphasize the patterns in the sand. Some other useful tips here.

The photo was taken with my Nikon D5100 and Nikon DX 10-24mm lens. It was shot in RAW and processed in Lightroom 4 and NIK Software's Color Efex Pro

All my work is at my SmugMug site, where prints and licensing can be purchased.
