Was killing some time last night and took this one at the street light display in front of LACMA, a very popular photo spot for visitors and locals in L.A. Not sure about processing yet -- can't decide if I added too much grain or not.
Shot these for my real job working on the blog and social media for Metro, the big transit agency serving Los Angeles County. The agency also owns one of the neatest buildings in town, Union Station, and the pics are part of a promotion in conjunction with the Music Center.
Some snaps from our recent/annual Bend vacation in semi-random order...
The awesome Santiago Calatrava designed Sundial Bridge in Redding, CA. Redding has 91,000 or so people. Los Angeles has nearly four million. One of them has a Calatrava bridge over the big river in town. And one of them doesn't. Then again, one of them (guess which) has a nice river for the bridge to go over.
Big oak tree in Turtle Bay Park in Redding. Artsy!
The excellent canoe trail at the Upper Klamath Lake National Wildlife Refuge. We used the Malone Springs put-in -- good for those with their own boats, btw.
Tumalo Falls west of Bend. Not easy to find good angle from above.
The domestic partner fly fishes the Crooked River south of Prineville. Beautiful canyon.
Just got back from a road trip to Oregon and a nice break from life/internet/everything -- I'll post a bunch of pics as soon as I have time for a nice, long session involving lots of coffee, Lightroom and cursing :)
