Spent three days in desert last week in the Pioneertown area, including a great show by Jenny Lewis at Pappy & Harriet's. If you've never been, go. It's really a great part of the Mojave Desert and very quiet compared to the busyness around Joshua Tree, 29 Palms and the national park.
