I'm still working my way through the pics I shot with my Nikon (many of the same things seen below), but I also made a bunch of photographs using mostly the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone6. In fact, I like a lot of the shots more than some of the DSLR shots -- road trips demand a snapshot approach and that's exactly what the iPhone does best.

Just got back from a drive that began in Portland and then visited Boise and Ketchum in Idaho, Pinedale and Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming and then wound through Logan, Utah, before heading south to L.A. If we had arrived home one day earlier, my Subaru might have been fried in a wildfire that engulfed a truck and several cars on the 15 freeway in the Cajon Pass yesterday -- proving that L.A. is still finding innovative and novel ways to try to kill people and/or destroy their property.
