This was a project for my work blog. I work for the big transit agency in the L.A. region -- Metro -- and we were on the verge of opening a new rail extension to several cities along the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley.
Instead of concentrating on train pics, I tried to do something different PR-wise and just get into the community and show some of the people, businesses and interestingness, whether it was close to the new train or not.
I spent way too much time on it, showed little discipline in selecting my favorite shots and never chose a uniform style shooting- or processing-wise. All that said, I was pleased with how the entire collection turned out.
