Playing around with some horse closeups at the stables last weekend. Hard to resist with those big ol' eyeballs.
I actually like the second one best even if the focus is extremely soft. Just has a nice abstract feel to it. The third photo is mostly decent; in hindsight I should have put more distance between the horse and the light at upper left.
All photos taken with my Nikon D5100 and either the DX 35mm 1.8 lens or DX 85mm micro lens, which is also good for general photography.

Though all of these are great, I too liked the second one for its extremely soft focus. White mane with a hint of blue, spanning to the eye. Its good and yes it have a nice abstract feel to it.
